College Volunteer

INTACH’s College Heritage Volunteer Training programme is a pioneering initiative undertaken with the support and endorsement of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India since November 2012. The training provides a platform to raise a general awareness among the youth to protect their heritage and train them in becoming leaders and exemplary citizens in caring for the heritage and culture of the country.

The student volunteers are trained through workshops and forums. Interactive forums are organized to discuss and exchange knowledge on heritage issues and concerns with the local heritage experts. To shale local heritage issues and work on key factors impacting the conservation of local heritage. We encourage and invite college students to become Heritage volunteers with INTACH HECS and become a part of a nationwide-youth movement to protect heritage.
